No offense OP, but I have to disagree with this one. While I understand and appreciate the spirit of your message, it's just not practical to expect anyone to help us. Perhaps if we requested help and it was denied, that's one thing.
As a young student growing up, I needed help from time to time from my mother. She had plenty of money and I had none. So every few weeks or so I'd call her up and say "Mom, I need help". But the flow of "financial aid" always went in one direction; from the have (her) to the have not (me). Mom never needed my financial help. Still doesn't. Though I help her in other ways.
We help other countries in need because we can. Expecting something in return defeats the purpose of it.

It would be nice if mainstream media would report on things like that - (there may have been a country or two and we just were not informed.) But what usually happens? Our own nation attempts to help our own in need. I'm interested to find out if any do even make the offer! ~ Haarpy
