I'm sure at the time Emergency responders wouldn't be tending to alarms. As a business owner I sure as hell wouldn't mind if someone broke in here to seek shelter, especially if it saved his life. I've done a lot of work with the homeless and they are very smart and very resourceful, and that much is obvious just from the fact that they are alive. I like to think the homeless population came out of this storm okay. |

It was damn hard and no-one showed any care. In fact evryone just looked at me as the scum of the earth without knowing anything about my situation or how I came to be homeless.Yes, I pulled myself out of it and now things are better but I was one of the lucky ones to be able to do that. As for me now, I do help as much as is possible for me. |
