Those who post extremely racist, foul, and/or hateful comments should be banned from GLP for at least six months. Agree or Disagree?

I personally am so tired of reading -- and disgusted by -- all the hateful comments on GLP. I realize that the mods can't keep up to date with thread, but it seems that the EXTREMELY hateful comments should be removed and those who posted them should be banned from GLP for a while.
BTW, I am all for freedom of speech and freedom of the press, but some of the callousness displayed to victims of disasters and all the racism on GLP just make me ill.
So, I am just curious . . . do you agree or disagree with me?
