Not since our great Mayor of Chicago Richard Daley said "Shoot to Kill" looters on all the networks. Has that been tried when the negroes went crazy in the 60's.

NYC won't have looting in most parts of the city ... though there WILL be robberies like there are EVERY night in EVERY big city in the US.

I do NOT live in NYC ... just visit now and then ... but for those of you who are really down on NYC you probably do not realize that the Manhatten part of NYC is statistically the SAFEST BIG CITY IN THE WORLD. Even safer than Tokyo.

New Yorkers are a actually a pretty positive group of people. NYC has the crime problems of ANY large city in the US, but those problems are really restricted to certain parts of the city, parts that have a large contingent of poor people and where the outsider would really have to work at to actually visit.

Until you have spent some time in NYC it is really hard to understand that different parts of the city really do have different personalities, and because of the water / bridges / tunnels, different parts of the city are VERY PHYSICALLY SEPARATED from other parts of the city, so problems in one part of the city do NOT tend to migrate to otehr parts of the city.

Crime WILL happen where it ALWAYS happens. The Safe Areas WILL REMAIN safe.
