I hope people planned ahead. Lost power Monday afternoon. Since wife and I gone through 2 gallons of potable water. They say it may be 10 days or more until we have power. Website has terms such as 'destroyed' and 'rebuild'. This ain't a few down wires. Hope peeps have plenty of fresh water, canned and dried food.

"Police in New York coped with crime. Thirteen people have been arrested there, and most of them were charged with looting Tuesday in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, CNN affiliate WABC reports. Much of the looting took place on Coney Island in Brooklyn."
