As Christians should you be celebrating Halloween*question mark*

Christmas(Saturnalia) is a pagan holiday Easter or "Ishtar" is a pagan holiday so why single out Halloween where all you do is eat candy. In fact so many Christian practices and traditions are based on pagan roots.

Or do we as Christians celebrate one pagan holiday and condemn the other I am sure you know the pagan roots of Christmas and Easter.

He did not start a religion and in general he's not please with religion period, especially this confused mess called Christianity. Why would YOU label yourselves by any religion when Jesus taught that religion is your relationship personally with Spirit/the Father?

You should label yourself NOTHING but I AM THAT I AM.

Most of Halloween is satanic, nothing holy about it. If it was a wondrous ceremony of a harvest at the end of the growing season, I could support that

Most people that claim Christ miss this point - Jesus did not go to the cross so we could ask Him to bless our lives and our will - check Luke 14:33 - Jesus asks us to count the costs because He requires we forsake *all* to be His disciple!

I didn't *single out* halloween...

Yes we forego the other pagan days as well - don't bow to the easter bunny, we know Jesus was probably born in the spring so toss the christmas tree etc...so, for us, we've chosen to avoid paganism...which by the way, we've not done so with a judgmental heart...just our choice!

if you christians don't want people dressing up as plumbers on halloween, to keep them from burning in hell, why don't you put your own holiday on top of it, like what you did with (what is now) christmas and easter?

Listen folk's - pretty much all arguments like this can be boiled down to..."I think God __________," fill in the blank! But I believe that's a dangerous way to approach our walk with God! Perhaps we should be more concerned about what we know pleases Him and pursuing that instead of wondering!

Respectfully, we wern't called to create holidays - it's much simplier then that...we were called to preach The Good News!

Just this year it hit me how wrong the Holiday is. I am not celebrating. I don't like horror movies anymore for the same reasons. Good post OP!

No true Christian shall celebrate the day of the devils wrath, for it represents the time the three days of darkness begins and gives power unto those entities unto all whom celebrate it without repentance. Many parents have put their own children at risk of evil spirits by having fun in such sin and evil. to them it seems like harmless fun dress up, do a trick or get a treat but in eternal law they are looked upon as evil and must repent of such things. The devil is the master of deception halloween and christmas is but two examples.

Those whom allow themselves to be deceived are those whom are taken in the 3 days of darkness. I saith unto you in warning you are misinformed and should forsake such thinking emptying your cup and fill it in words given by Jesus the Christ. The entity that ye claim is on a craft is a deceiver. Ye have no portion of our spirit if believe such lies.

God knows the motives of my heart, so I am not concerned about wearing a costume or handing out candy.

What you are doing is celebrating the Devil, its like having a holiday for the drug dealers, in the form of cartoons, and calling it the day of the little narcoboys..a witch is a worshipper of the dark forces, of evil, and you know that, what this celebration is pure stupidity, but what can you expect of the sheeple ? That why they are so stupid..

I think if Christ returned He would be rejected by most Christians..because He wouldnt conform to THEIR idea of Christianity..they would probably TELL HIM what to do..

I dunno but if you synch in..and connect..it should go against the spiritual grain to dress up in something negative..my opinion anyway

when you synch in..you *feel* when something isnt right..

I used to watch horror movies..I used to watch movies that contained violence..to me it was no biggie..then comes a point when through or because of whatever reason you synch in as I call it..at least in my case..and you just cant watch that any more..because it makes you feel really really uncomfortable..at least in my case..same with the costumes..only that since I was a kid..just couldnt bring myself to dress up in something that seemed wrong to me

Same with killing animals..

Its an awareness..it goes against the spiritual grain..at least in my case..I wont uproot a plant..either..very very unusual that I do..

they all want to live..they are energy..I know..it seems silly..

But you either understand or it seems absolute nonsesnse to you

negative..positive

in the so called hell there is only negative

in the so called heaven there is only positive

it is all about energy

here there are both

according toactions..omissions..thoughts..beliefs..etc..you can either energetically feed one polarity or the other

the negative one pulls down

the positive one elevates

Like a pendulum

a shift to the negative..by feeding it generates a negative environment that breeds negative outcomes

a shift to the positive generates a more positive outcome that generates positive results..

There is a subtle spiritual war going on here since forever..

trying to shift the balance in one direction or the other

most people are unaware..and they serve as spiritual batteries that feed one end or the other to their unawares

because they dont understand how it works and are deliberately kept in the dark

PS..you either side with our shared spirit within or you side with the religious concepts our spirit created...there is nothing else besides our co-creator spirit and the creations...do you follow spirit or do you follow the concepts created by our spirit? that is the difference between being a beast within a beast or being a spirit whom controls its beast/ark...beasts are creations,you either subdue them or they subdue you...hate to break it to you but the word antichrist means antispirit...
