MI is the other state that he's not technically "on" the ballot but at least they allow a write-in for him there. Write-ins are not allowed in OK from what I've seen. It's too bad that OK doesn't allow people an actual choice. |

Tell me again what kind of statement is made and to whom and does anyone give a crap for your little statement. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8036987 I disagree. I am hopeful he will be able to break the 5% popular vote barrier and get funding for the Libertarian party next presidential election. That will make a HUGE difference and we might not have to "choose" between 2 pieces of shit next time around. What does casting a vote for one of the 2 "chosen" ones say? It says that you approve of their warmongering and reckless spending. |

You can thank us later if that goal is ever achieved. And here's what happened in 2000 [link to en.wikipedia.org] After a bitter fight, Pat Buchanan secured the Reform Party nomination over John Hagelin of the Natural Law Party. Hagelin and an anti-Buchanan faction walked out and held a separate convention across the street, where they nominated Hagelin as the party's candidate. The dispute went to the courts and the FEC decided that Buchanan was the legitimate nominee and awarded him $12.6 million in campaign funds.[9] Buchanan's running mate was Ezola B. Foster. Buchanan got 449,225 votes, 0.4% of those voting,[clarification needed] and the party lost its matching funds for 2004.[1] |

Soldier on with this game-changer and best of luck with all that. The best way to change this 2 party system is from the inside. Party structure makes that very difficult on purpose but it can be done. Just ask the Tea Party. |

Why would the "statement" have to be for anybody but him/her self? Let's see what kind of a retard response you come up with!!!! Voted my conscience with Ross Perot, who ended up with 12%, I think, to ensure a Clinton victory. I was mad as hell that govt. spending/deficits were sky-rocketing. Of course, they have only gotten worse. Much worse! As an election alternate judge, I am glad to see voters of any and all stripes. Election time is about the only time the politicians give a damn if then, and usually to pander for votes. We have a 2 party system. That is the structure and both parties fight to keep it. They gerrymander to support incumbents and refuse term limits that threaten the establishment. I think the change has to come from within the parties themselves and we have seen it. O and his czars/advisers pulled the D's to the left and the Tea Party pulled the R's to the right. Vote your conscience and I hope your choice will help to unite the country enough to face the many challenges ahead. |

You think things will be any different with either of them running the country? Thats the thing that kills me. I didn't like Bush as a president. I don't like Obama as a president. I don't expect Romney to do anything but carry the torch. It's a fucking shame that we're left voting for the lesser of two evils. The real problem is that people like you are afraid of real change and think that voting outside the big 2 is a waste. I know Johnson will lose. I know that voting Johnson isn't going to make a difference in the race 4 years from now. But when this country continues to be a cess pool of shit and the failures of a greenspan credit economy, at least I'll be able to sit back and say I did all that I could with my one vote to change things.
