I just thought of some more advice for OP;

Every lumberjack thinks he's a lather.

Some lathers will get you started and they will finish and leaf before you are done.

Never let a lather take pictures because that never works out good for the wood.

Choose your lather wisely.

Check for termites before lathing begins.

NEVER get lathed by a relative.
