For months I've been saying that, right before the election, some "scandal" will emerge involving the Republican party, and that will be the reason that Obama wins. I really hope I'm wrong, but I know I can't be the only one who "predicted" such a thing would happen.

I don't see how Obama can win with his power base suffering from the storm. Because of it, thousands won't vote. Even if power is back in their area, many will unlikely go to the polls because they are too overwhelmed with personal problems. He/They WILL find a way to win. There are a certain type of people that just will not lose, they refuse. Don't you watch Lifetime movies?  Seriously though. For a while there I was thinking Romeny. NOw..... I am smelling desparation.
