I have tried mushrooms a few times to end a cluster cycle, but, unless you cultivate them yourself, are hard to get when you need them.

They did work for me. In fact, it was used to end the last cycle before this terrible one. Maybe the rebound was worsened. Who knows

When a Cluster cycle ends, I went into manic behavior for decades, and tried to forget they ever happened.

There was never much thought about how much time I would have this time to be pain-free

remission is the time for prayer and maybe even consultation as you suggest.
During a Cluster cycle, it is impossible.

Very demonic thoughts are not only inevitable, but become so common that you get lost completely in fear of the next attack.

And just enduring over 30 years of this roller coaster no doubt has given me strange ablities as far as perspective, but has made it difficult at best to maintain any regiment of meditation or continued enlightenment.
