So, psyoptics, you were familiar with his work, which of his videos might add to the discussion here? I think.... he clearly was trying to get the word out about this scenario on Dylan Ratigan and other TV programs, right? Thanks for your input. |

Breaching Through Napoleon Salt Dome? The Smoking Gun. Well, I figure that it could only be one of three things: 1. Deepwater "blowout" was due to human error, they are attempting to deal with situations as they arise, and they are really not sure what is going to happen. 2. They were aware of building stress and fracturing which would eventually lead to catastrophic methane release, salt dome infiltration, cascading faultline rips, land subsidence and seawater inundation. They were attempting to mitigate these effects by systematic controlled-release of these stress forces. 3. They are directly attempting to cause the effects of #2. |

Injection was at a depth of 3650 m into a highly fractured Precambrian Gneiss. Between 1962 and 1967 over 1500 earthquakes were recorded, with three major ones of magnitude 5 or more in 1967 and which shook the Denver area causing minor structural damage. Previously, the last event felt in the area had been in 1882. By the mid 1980s, the earthquake activity had all but died away. The causes were attributed to movements along the fractures in the gneiss triggered by the increase in pore pressure due to injection. Another statement from USGS confirming BP Macondo well destabilized a Methane Hydrate pocket; "Because drilling can bring warm fluids up from depth, potentially melting the shallower gas hydrate, many researchers and engineers anticipate that drilling through gas hydrate may pose a hazard to the stability of the well, the platform anchors, the tethers, or even entire platforms." When BP breached the Methane Hydrate the well became unstable and blew. This is what caused the GOM spill. Now we have a bigger problem ahead of us. |
