Halloween Candy - my kids are going to be wired for weeks!

I had to work tonight but my husband took the kids trick or treating. When I got home there was a bowl of candy on the kitchen table and a note that said "mommy happy halloween. if you dont like those, there are more."
so sweet.

Mom used to save all my Halloween candy till Christmas and stick it in my stocking. Talk about having to do all the work...

Cute kids.. :) We went to Boo At The Zoo this year so no candy but they got to dress up and there were carnival rides and games and lots of cool things to do, it was a lot of fun until we got home and my 4 year old realized she got candy jipped.. :) Now I feel a little guilty but all 5 are asleep and I am hoping she will have forgiven me by morning.. :)

A section of our neighborhood is known for Halloween. people drive their kids there to go trick or treating cause Halloween is serious business. Every house is decorated to the max. it is incredible. Better than the 'old days' even. I swear at least a thousand people throughout the night in a five block area. We waited in lines for each house and my daughter came home with candy amounting to half a pillow case! She knows she doesn't get to keep it all. I let her pick out 4 pieces, the rest I throw away. Instead she gets to keep the 'mystery gift' I have wrapped for her each year. Basically a $10.00 toy. She's happy cause she got to go trick or treating and I am happy she will only be eating 4 pieces of candy.

My daughters school collects unwanted candy and sends it to the troops.

I'm the guy that posted just after OP posted this, and I said it's ALL GMOs.. throw it away.. give them organic fruits/veggie FRESH JUICED AT HOME, IS LIKE CANDY. but god's candy.

Pepsi, they were caught with Senomyx putting aborted fetal tissue substances into all pepsi and coca-cola products, and still have stockpiles of the stuff to sell still (even though they claimed they'll stop using it, they still have a bunch to sell)

Yes it's hard to say "no!" to GMOs, WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW HOW BAD THEY ARE.

It's EASY to say "NO!" to GMOs, when you do know how bad it is. Even kids know the difference.
