There were over a dozen agents nearby that could have defended the embassy and in fact through their close associations with these perpetrators were probably not only aware of the operation but in all likelihood orchestrated the attack as well. I also believe that the real plan was to kidnap the ambassador in order to stretch this out until after the election to embarrass Obama. A similar scenario was played out by the then CIA director Bill Casey back in 1980. |
