Quoting: amywood71605 I can see it being great on a tablet or other touchscreen device. As a desktop OS, it does seem a bit quicker than Windows 7. Once I log in, I go straight to the Desktop mode anyway... so it's almost identical to what I'm used to. I do somewhat miss the quickness of clicking the Start orb to open my most commonly used programs, but I'm getting used to it. The only thing I really use the "Metro" interface for is playing solitaire or minesweeper :) EDIT: Almost forgot... the new Task Manager is wonderful.
