I don't think they can do it. They would have to go to the supreme court because of constitutional reasons. It is a constitution law.

You know Obama doesn't care about laws or the constitution. This man has been lawless since he's been sworn in office.

Arrested is what he needs, I think that more every day. States control the voting, not federal.

All he has to do is to declare presidential emergency powers to disrupt the election. He is very familiar with "executive orders", (over 200 of them in the last few years!)

Even the Civil War did not stop elections.

By constitutional law Congress sets the election dates. They could call congress, lobby to get it passed and get them to vote via phone and computer without dragging them all back to DC while they're mostly in their home states campaigning for someone or other. I do think a Presidential Declaration of a NATIONAL state of Emergency would do it and allow Oboma to postpone it. However Congress alone would have to reset the date and it had better be soon enough to allow for a January Inauguration for whomever wins.

No president can serve more than his four year elected term wtihout winning another election. So we still have to have the new guy (or the old guy) re-inaugurated and sworn in by Jan 1.

The election isnt stopping. So....yeah!

If this happened in the UK I would expect them to postpone elections because if 5% of the electorate cant vote and the end result could of been different because of that missing 5% then democracy would of looked like it failed.

This is why you should read my thread. It might help you expand further on your thoughts. With elections going ahead in the aftermaths of this storm, its just a charade now. Not that the elections were real/important in the first instance but people now taking part in it now should ask themselves if they had lost their lives, that of a family or a friend if they would still be participating? This is beyond bunkers and nuts for any one of them to still take part on something the elites decide on anyway. It just shows they have totally lost their souls.

Even without the emotional part of the elections now especially with some lives lost, the election can never be free and fair and there will be many that arent able to vote.
