The election honestly should be delayed. It wouldn't be fair to the people of the country to hold an election when we are in the middle of a crisis and so many people are not able to vote.

Anyone participating in this election should ask themselves if they had lost their lives or that of a loved one would deem voting as the topmost thing on the list of their priorities.

Well let's see what the US Constiution has to say about this.

Congress “may determine the time of [choosing] the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.”

Pursuant to this Constitutional authority, Congress in turn has set Election Day by federal statute. This statute, 3 U.S.C. section 1, provides that: “The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, in every fourth year....“ This year, that Tuesday is November 6.

The next section of this federal statute, 3 U.S.C. section 2, provides that: “Whenever any State has held an election for the purpose of choosing electors, and has failed to make a choice on the day prescribed by law, the electors may be appointed on a subsequent day in such a manner as the legislature of such State may direct.”

[link to www.archives.gov]

Under the terms of the Help America Vote Act (42 U.S.C. section 15482(c)), any extension of voting hours that occurs within 10 days of the scheduled election will necessitate the use of provisional ballots for all voters not already waiting at the polls at the normal closing time. We are
already within the 10-day period that prohibits extending voting hours without requiring provisional ballots.

With Congress out on Holiday with 5 days to go I don't see them rolling in and changing or extending anything.

Congress has to make this decision. Not FEMA. Fema has no constitutional powers to change the election date, period.

Do YOU realize that it makes no difference who's in this "office"? The asymetric offensive to create TEN REGIONS under FEMA is proceeding, and will proceed, no matter what anyone does to try to stop this from happening! State governments are being dissolved in favor of Regional Government! California, Nevada, and Arizona are "unoffically" a "Region" already! There is a Regional Court House located near Sacramento, CA! New York and New Jersey are "unofficially" a "Region" as well!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26476073

Very interesting... provinces are the next step before the North American Union, because when the sovereign states are gone, The USA is gone (officially; unofficially it's been gone for a long time).

Interesting as well that the Club of Rome has tossed around the idea of ten global kingdoms: [link to www.fether.net]

Mississippiblkman I have an unrelated question for you, hope you don't mind. My best friend at work/life is a black man and we are both mid forties and Software Engineers. My friend is very smart but he truly believes the Republicans are the enemy and that Obama is the savior. I try to tell him that it doesn't matter who the president is because they are controlled by the TPTB. I explain how the bankers own the world and make the calls. Do I keep trying to wake him up or just let him believe his conditioning? Thanks !!!!!!!! BTW it seems like you see through the charade and you are a black man so I thought you could provide insight.

Yup...just the primer. Do people understand the wider implications of Governor Chris Christies', new found love with Obama? A governor who has re-election coming up next year but falling in love with a supposed outgoing president and discarding Romney?

He's pretty much telling people that Obama will remain president.
 Quoting: Ohwell

The newly formed friendship between Christie and O disturbs me as well.

As for postponement of the election, it doesn't even HAVE to be postponed at this point.

It's a win-win for O.

He can now easily contest any result that isn't in his favor.

Remember the hanging chads:

We didn't have an actual President until mere days before the inauguration.

This time, what happens if we don't "have" one on Inauguration day?

I've always said, if the race is neck and neck O would "win" through vote count manipulation. This is why the whole Diebold/Spain/Soros purchase was set up.

If Romney surged ahead (as he has done) O would create an event whereby he couldn't be removed from office.

Well, looks like it's happening. Doesn't it?

And you guys STILL want me to vote for Romney?

Sure. At this point I will. I'm doing it for everyone who thinks it's going to make a difference.

I wish I believed it WILL make a difference. But I don't.

Great thread, OP.

You should read these threads I made below. It might help you expand further on your thoughts. With elections going ahead in the aftermaths of this storm, its just a charade now. Not that the elections were real/important in the first instance but people now taking part in it now should ask themselves if they had lost their lives, that of a family or a friend in the storm, will voting be in the top of their priorities?

This is beyond bunkers and nuts for any one of them to still take part in something the elites decide on anyway. It just shows they have totally lost their souls.

Even without the emotional part of the elections now especially with some lives lost, the election can never be free and fair and there will be many that arent able to vote.

Thread: Sandy Staged to push Global Warming Fraud - Obama's unprecedented response is the clue.

Just to let you know that this storm is planned and expected, I created a thread last week that Obama will remain president...this is long before I even knew a storm was coming....

Here are the excerpts:

"What will happen however is that there is going to be an event. That event will cause a great deal of confusion as to what is truly taking place. Those who haven't been paying attention all this while will seriously be in Limbo. Obama will act as the charismatic leader in the middle of this. Last night's debate was intended to portray him in this light - a strong person that can still remain president. This will be the thought process of the unaware masses when elections are cancelled."

Does this look eerily similar to what is unfolding right in front of our very eyes? How did I know, yet the MSM tells you that no one saw this coming?

Get a friggin grip. The Jersey shore line is not the whole country and the people that live there will be able to vote if they want to. For the areas that don’t have power by Tuesday, all that would be required would be a portable generator. Parts of the subway in New York City are already re-opened and all of Manhattan is expected to have power restored by Saturday. Yes, the storm was bad. Not it isn't the end of the world. Machine,

Like you, I always laughed at the conspiracy regarding weather manipulation.

I'm not laughing any longer.

There are too many people in high places (and not just the government but accredited scientists throughout the world)who have confirmed that it exists and is in use.

Before I left Las Vegas it was finely acknowledged that clouds were indeed being seeded for rain in that area. Up to then I dismissed the "chem-trail" people as having an overly active imagination.

I don't like reading about HAARP. It makes me sick. But it exists. I have to believe it's for a reason.

And while I would have laughed at the idea of a manufactured hurricane just a few years ago I'm not laughing any longer.

The timing of Sandy combined with the numbers suggesting an O upset leads me to believe that this wasn't a coincidence.

Add to that the fact that this storm didn't merit the electricity outages we're seeing nor the time it's taking to restore it, well.....

Re: *RED ALERT: FEMA Making Preparations to Postpone Presidential Elections in Wake of Sandy
Does anyone realize the number of people who are likely going to lose more than their minds, if this man continues his stay in office?

Do YOU realize that it makes no difference who's in this "office"? The asymetric offensive to create TEN REGIONS under FEMA is proceeding, and will proceed, no matter what anyone does to try to stop this from happening! State governments are being dissolved in favor of Regional Government! California, Nevada, and Arizona are "unoffically" a "Region" already! There is a Regional Court House located near Sacramento, CA! New York and New Jersey are "unofficially" a "Region" as well!
