I think Christie is extremely stressed and saddened. And it shows. He is in an impossible position and is doing what anyone would do, except Bloomberg, of course.
However - IF you want to consider conspiracy theory, there are 2 things to consider:
1) CC is conceding that Obama will remain Prez and is signaling that by 'warming' up to him publicly.
2) CC made took the odd step of postponing Halloween until Nov. 5, in the midst of chaos and disaster. Could this be a signal the elections are going to be postponed? Food for thought.

Like he knew something coming and he had to get with the program. His attachment to Obama didn't look mutually dependent. Like he really needed to get something from Obama. This is even more troubling when you consider that he, as a republican Obama basher, in line for re-election next year, but yet sulking up to a supposedly outgoing president. It just doesn't add up. Are states that dependent on FED govt? He's totally discarded his party and Romney. He's sure not getting any favours from Romney unless of course he knows that Obama will be the man he will be getting the favours from.
