Just shut the fuck up with your incessant bullshitting.

We all know what you were doing last night, and it wasn't stargazing. You were in front of your monitor, with wotsits and mountain dew, wanking to the morning light.

 Quoting: Solar Guardian

YES!!

A star, just like the one when Jesus was born.It appeared above a mountain range. I kept staring at it, and felt something strong like it was noticing me. It lit way up and started moving closer to me. I thought, "Whats this? An airplane about to crash into my house? Then the lights of it went out, and I did'nt hear a sound at all. I looked up above me, and there it was stopped just above the tree. Part of it was over my house, part above the tree. I froze there staring at it with my 14 year old daughter, no fear at all. Then when it began to leave slowly, another orb one was following behind it. It looked like a tinkerbell the way it moved in a flash.

Then me and my daughter went back and watched some TV, forgetting about all this, and didnt even talk about what we just saw, or tell anyone. One week later, we both suddenly remembered at the same time, and began to talk about it.

Somewhat similar to my experience. No disclosure, though. I don't agree. Just a strange phenomena that really makes no sense. Why reveal itself and take such an interest in me. I'm no one. It carried no meaning or portent of anything, then. They can be next to us and invisible or decide to allow us to see them. Either way, it's meaningless.

Hmmmmm!.....
A 'star' that appears, then fades....

Sounds exactly like an 'Iridium Flare', sunlight reflects from a satellite, down to the planet's surface - a bit like reflecting a spot of light onto a wall with your watch-face.
If you are in the area where this reflected 'spot' reaches the ground, you see the satellite 'flare' up for a few seconds, then fade when the reflected spot moves on.

They are VERY well understood, and VERY predictable - the 'heavens-above' website can give very accurate predictions of flare sightings, if you enter your location accurately.

I believe the OP may have seen an iridium flare (if he saw anything at all), then embellished the rest.
(his posting history does show that SERIOUS embellishment is a regular thing for him)

Seen one the other night, and have been seeing them for the last few months. Usually spotted to the SW for me. Same spot and flashes very briefly and last for about a half hour.

I seen what appeared to be a star at 930pm at closer observation with binoculars it seemed to be like a shower of meteors in two oblong circles and within 15min they were gone I have seen this three times in the same spot this week. I believe it to be not of this earth from the US

Hate to say man, but this has been going on for many years. It is not uncommon to see this if the desire is their and consistent. Still nice to experience tho!

Iridium flare.

Solar Guardian is a classic 'boy who cried wolf'.

One day he may actually see something tangible, but when he finally does, even the most backwards drooling retards will not believe him.

Please don't humour him when he is obviously fishing for attention. You are actually doing him mental Harm.
It is abuse to pander to delusion.
Instead, direct him answers grounded in reality.

In this case he described a classic Iridium flare.
He can tap in his coordinates and confirm that what he saw was nothing, or even download an app if he has a smartphone that will show where the next 'ufo' will appear.

To Solar Guardian, your ability to bounce off negative posts is admirable, but come on, you have been here long enough to know basic stuff like this. Are you playing people for fools, or do you just have no respect for posters that may be more vulnerable?

I see them constantly night and day. I love them. They can be very big or very small, very close or far in the sky. They are not satellites.

You saw a satellite. If it was stationary, you were looking at a geosynchronous one. If it was tearing across the sky, it was in a lower orbit. There are lots of them. If it was "pulsating" in and out of visibility, then it was rotating.

Have a nice night!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6321116

I've seen what he described but in daylight and with the naked eye.
It communicated the message to me that I was being watched.
That was 17 years ago..

I only ever had 1 other daylight/early morning dawn sighting since, and the object behaved very differently, the other one from 17 years ago was like a giant bright star in daylight that pulsated once then became really small where I could almost make out some sort of structure. Instantly I thought it was some 60,000 feet up. Dimly you could see more of the spectrum of light, red , green ..and then it just shrank into nothingness and disappeared.
I knew what was instinctively as other life that is way way way way way more advanced than us, and they're watching!

Re: I've just seen a UFO that appears like a star, but appears and disappears
Since I became aware of them in August, 2013, I have three fake stars that hover my house every night, along with lots of colored orbs that hover around my yard. What's even stranger is the stars follow me everywhere I go, to the corner market, trips out of town. When I stop, they stop, if I enter a store in daylight but come out at dark, they are always there. I'm pretty certain my life is too damn boring for it to be a drone of any kind. I thought I was going crazy but while driving my son will point them out without any prompt and now my mother does as well. A couple of months ago I was at a birthday party and when it got dark about 10 people followed me outside and were "holy shit, she's not crazy!" When I left to go home they watched the larger star follow my car. Having confirmation by so many witnesses made me feel much better knowing that I am not imagining things. The three will often turn into many, 50+, and it looks crazy, like there's a party of stars above my home. I'll look around the rest of the neighborhood and not see another star in sight. All these months I have searched for answers, to no avail. I just cannot figure out, why me? Actually, I have a son who has special needs so I think it may be for him and they are his guardians or something. At least I pray that is the case as the last seven years have held several tragedies for my son and me and we could surely use some Devine intervention!

Re: I've just seen a UFO that appears like a star, but appears and disappears
The stars have been interesting to watch these days. If you look at some of them, they will appear to moving and flickering unnaturally. I've seen large bright flickering stars that appear to be moving in a zig zagging pattern, left to right, back and fourth, not really moving too far from its standard position of choice. Their behavior is unlike any normal star. You can actually see them moving with your naked eyes! These stars have been putting on a show, some as if they wanted to be seen. Absolutely mesmerizing! From my personal experience, you can feel something different about some these stars, for example sentient and even organic in nature. Some appear to have their own personality, how it moves and flickers.

They do appear to be very curious about us. I like to play music for them, they will all draw in much closer and if I say, let's dance, they will join me and move around as I do. Thankfully, my backyard is mostly private or neighbors must think I'm absolutely bonkers, LOL!

Re: I've just seen a UFO that appears like a star, but appears and disappears
Last night, I was gazing at the night sky to look at stars. Suddenly I saw a bright star. I looked at it for a few seconds, and it suddenly "disappeared" or faded away. I thought a cloud passing over it had just obscured the view of that star, but strangely an other star above it was still visible. Then suddenly, a few seconds later, the star that had just faded away reappeared.

It went on like this back and forth for few amount of time before it completely disappeared. I believed what I saw last night was clearly an ET spaceship, and it decided to show their craft to me from the skies, knowing I am probably one of few ET-friendly Earthlings here in my residence. Baed on this, I am convinced that First Contact is near, and is now measured in terms of days away, instead of weeks away... abduct

Re: I've just seen a UFO that appears like a star, but appears and disappears
I see a lot of them almost every night. I looked it up to see what it might be. The one's that are flashing bright and disappear are supposed to be iridium flares from satellites.
We often have clear nights and I can see lots of stars because we do not have as much light pollution. Some do seem to flash, slow down and eventually disappear. I'm assuming that's when the satellites are in position or when they have just travelled too far to be seen (without a telescope).
Keep looking up. The night sky is filled with more beauty and amazing scenes than any show on television right now. :)

I saw one, but it didn't disappear ~ it moved, extremely rapidly, from place to place.......near, then far, right, then left, way WAY faster than any jet could ever go. This has been a few years ago now.

When I first noticed them I wasn't sure if they were moving but after few nights of stargazing it became very clear they were. It didn't take many stargazing nights to know for certain that they weren't real stars and I could immediately tell if it was moving in closer, either towards me or if over my head, moving down. Last night was clear and so I went outside and again, a party over my house, the rest of the neighborhood was void of stars. It's crazy!
