I would usually ignore a thread like this and even though it's been pinned all day, I just now went looking through it - thought what the heck - let's read what the nutjobs have to say...

BUT THEN as I'm reading it I realize I am one of the nutjobs!

We went camping last weekend - husband wanted to do a test run on our survival skills etc...  We went to a VERY remote part of the country for a few days.  We knew Sandy was coming and normally I'd be glued to the t.v. etc... But instead just kinda checked in now and then on my smartphone when I could get service but nothing major...

We got back home in the middle of the night (Wed morning) - after Sandy had come and left...  There had been no power outages or storms in our area (we leave a tv on for the cats and it was still on - if power had lapsed it would shut off and not restore) but our kitchen clocks - all on same circuit - microwave, stove and fridge panel all showed exactly 12 minutes each off from real time.  Real time was 2:34 but stove said 2:22, fridge said 2:46 and microwave was correct...  For 5 years these clocks have always been correct and they are okay now...

Pretty weird huh?

Also - OP are you anywhere near Grapevine TX?  I swear the opposite is happening to me regarding road construction.  Areas I KNOW have been completed on all the 114 construction are suddenly back to just being started.  Funny - one of these instances was a bridge...  I KNOW that thing was finished before but the other day it wasn't even started...
