Yo OP! It's Brooklyn AC here! Did you see my post from yesterday? I made it down to the harbor (by Hess Containers) actually made it on the grounds then got run off by security. Anyway NO activity at all...except for security walking around. And the smell of diesel/gas was gone.

Appears some Marines landed in Staten Island yesterday..must've been the chinook helicopters I saw.
AND
Heard that navy has arrived via boats in some parts of southern Queens to help residents stuck there.

That means that marine traffic website is not picking up military vessels. Only gov vessels showing up on marine traffic DOT COM is coast guard boats. Otherwise marine traffic website is accurate from what I can see.

They really need to evac those people especially children and elderly into shelters...can't see how they will survive the coming nor'easter.
