They think in VERY simplistic terms.

Some women psychopaths see the whole marriage and kids thing as a contract, or business proposition.

These people have none of the higher emotions, their whole emotional landscape is personal survival at its crudest level.

So she gave her husband a child, in return for something. (which we dont know, but its usually money and lifestyle) The husband didnt fulfill his side of the bargain (business didnt go well or he was stringing her along vis a vie the money), so she terminated the contract by killing the kid.

Its that simple and its that callous.

What we can look forward to hearing is all the "poor me" and other inventive ways she will try and excuse this abhorrent behaviour.

The poor kid wont have been taken unawares though its likely he would have suffered months or years of abuse before this final horrible step.

I understand. I tried for six years to have children, and every time a story like this popped up it would break my heart and fill me with rage at the same time.
I have children now (thanks to metformin!!!) but it doesnt change the way I fell at hearing this story. I do not take parenthood for granted.

Your pseudo-argument sucks enormously, because there are many millions of righteous Christians, who do many good things for other living beings.

Besides that, a vulnerable mind, as you name it, can unfortunately be affected negatively by practically all kinds of (ordinary) things. For example a righteous person uses a butter knife solely to apply butter upon a bread, but a vulnerable mind unfortunately could use the butter knife for harmful purposes. Therefore such things have absolutely nothing to do with (not) being a Christian.

Again, your shallow argument is extremely weak and besides that it is an unwanted affront against all righteous Christians. By the way, i do not like your odd denotation "Bible thumpers" either. Personally i am a Christian and my life is not fear-based, but instead it is based on divine love, as it should be.

Have you read the bible? That thing is downright epic in sex and death and slavery (of their own) and betrayal. Hell that one guy was about to kill his own son before god stopped him. But he was still going to do it, pure and simple because a voice told him so. I totally believe she was mentally ill, but using religion by itself as the only crutch instead of a doctor is terrible.
