you just had a narrow miss on almost a national level.
Dude, you need to google the U.S. --- it didn't even get close to the Mississippi River and half the country is west of the Mississippi --- so it was a "big" ass miss.

The storm could easily have come your way or any other person's way for that matter. The nature of the unpredictability, uncertainty and lack of control of this storm is the real crux of the matter. It could have been worse and had it been worse would you still be worried about elections? But this could happen any day so are you saying to NEVER do anything because a disaster might happen? No, there is a set date for the general elections and they will be held then. Period.
