I am up all night most nights, so I tend to catch some of C2C nightly(listening now)...it's not bad. They cover many topics of interest, to me. Plenty of current events...do plenty of open call...the commercials are a little out of hand. Art's been gone a long time now, Overnight America? Really?

I didn't know that Art was an Obama cheerleader, but I guess I'm not surprised. I think George does a pretty good job though. I don't listen that much anymore, but I find that George is much less sensational approach than Art. Phil Hendrie's impression is spot on.

Art and Ian were rude at times to callers. I have never heard George or JB Wells be rude.

Yeah, because they're too busy kissing the guest's ass. In order to be a good host and ask pertinent questions, you sometimes have to be a dick. Snoory is notorious for asking some really gay questions, like "Do you believe in angels... C-mon, what kind of shit is that?

Ian was rude... Bell would just turn combative when a guest tried to pass some bullshit across the wire and Bell would challenge him

the one time Ian was awesome was when he openly ridiculed the mess that is Steve Quayle... it was golden

C2C went hard on Ian for that, and like a whipped puppy, Ian apologized on-air for disrespecting Quayle, like the pussy he truly is

the only reason Bell let Noory take over the show is because he knew Noory couldn't fill his shoes.

Yes, they were! I got to the point where I could hardly listen to Art because no matter how logical or eloquent they were, if he didn't agree, he would just cut them off rather than having a real conversation.

And as far as his Asian child bride, he has a history of knocking up Asian women and leaving them and his children to fend for themselves. He's probably under too much scrutiny now to do that with this latest one, hopefully anyway. He has at least 3 or 4 children that he abandoned. Great role model.

When I was a kid growing up in Iowa, everyday at 4:00 pm there was a kiddie show that featured, cartoons, re runs of the 3 stooges, a wacky host, and prizes for viewers. I drank a Coke, ate a peanut butter sandwich, and some chips, and avoided doing my home work...

Coast to Coast is the same kind of show, but for adults. George means well, but between his stupid questions, and the drowning out of content with commercial, after commercial, its just not worth listening to anymore.

Sure it will limp along for years, because there are millions of listeners who feel safe, and hip listening to it, but eventually it will go under..

For me personally there's not enough doom related news on the show anymore. I usually listen to that Red Eye Radio show, Overnight America with Jon Grayson, or local sports talk here in NYC on WFAN.

I wasn't aware of any of this, although I still don't think it compares with Art knocking up Asian women and abandoning them and his children. I had no idea about any of it when I was strongly defending him years ago and fighting with Mitch Battros over it. Battros wanted to take Art's place and it appeared that he would do or say anything to make that happen at the time. You could fill up a thimble with how much respect I have for that joker.

Did you notice how often Noory seems to be gone from the show anymore? Makes me wonder if he's moving on to other stuff or just on the way out. Wells and Knapp are okay, Punnit, well.... I do like Clyde Lewis.

As for Noory, although he started out in radio from the get-go, his real training seems to have come from when he was in the US Navy in a PR/communications role. Odd they'd select him for that, then afterward he come to host Coast-to-Coast AM.

As for Ramona, who knows. She was asthmatic and he smoked like a chimney while repeatedly denying that it caused any health effects. I think he quit after she died, but I'm not certain about that.
