Demons are artificial intelligence... 'programs' metaphysically formed to lead spirit (conscious humans, if you prefer) into lower densities or modes of experience. Nothing is inherently evil, mind you... but know the minor programs always serve the Master program (symbolically referred to as Satan.) That means, the small programs seek to drag the collective consciousness (not just you) into the lower modes of experience (increasing separation from others and greed, sadism, destruction, etc.)

If you having a life of luxury serves the goal of the Master program, the demons will be happy to oblige (though looking at the world stage I'm certain those spots have been filled, and that ship has sailed.) However, once you are no longer a valuable asset the demons no longer have an interest in the illusion of serving you... again, they are programs that work for a Master program. So there you are... nothing to leverage against a program (rooted in your mind, like a virus) that lures spirit into lower, less pleasant modes of reality by design (and no... death isn't the end, fella.) If the finite moments of superficial bliss are worth the horrow show, by all means proceed.

I appreciate - although don't entirely agree with - your electron microscope analogy as I observe individual atoms and nanoscale clusters for a living. Once we can observe demons, angels, devils and gods, I will be glad to assign them into the same category as the Universe that we can observe with an electron microscope.
