I'm in the downriver area J S of Detroit, im on the second story right now, and just heard a very powerful explosion. I am only about 15 miles from Chrystal salt mines. This sounded like 20 to 30 train cars ramming together.

In a news release, the plant says the explosion may or may not be related to Thursday night's power outage at the entire Rouge Complex. No one was injured. Everyone at the plant was evacuated. I wonder if this cold aor pipe somehow got filled with methane?
