Prior to The Celtic-Troll showing up and berating everyone for how "rich" they are. The original topic of the OP was just a statistic that put Obama's failed economic policies on display.

AND actually the statistic of Food Stamp Growth at 75X greater than Job Creation during the last four years, is an indictment of those tragic economic policies, not the welfare system itself.

Because if Obama had done what he promised, and gotten the unemployment rate down to 5.2%, instead of the 7.9% we currently stand at, that would've meant an additional 9,000,000 jobs. Meaning his Job Creation number would've almost matched Food Stamp Growth.

Though I suspect if we'd gotten those 9,000,000 jobs, the statistic would've been reversed, because not nearly as many of those people would require Food Stamps if there were ample jobs avialable...
