Rain & wind....it's normal for these storms in Nov in the PNW. If we get colder temps, then it's snow east of the mountains here.

My concern isnt wind or a big storm but flood warnings had been issued in the last week. And considering how unseasonably dry it had been in washington... massive flooding wouldnt surprise me and is definately not out of the realm of possibilities. We havnt had a whopper for quite sometime

We get flooding almost every season here on the west side. Some years worse than others. I can remember huge wind storms around Turkey day, on the west side. Commonly lost power, trees down, ect. These storms are normal this time if year.

This storm is reported on National News. It swirls around starting in Gulf of Alaska like one half of an eight tilted backwards. It gets another death knell cold shot before strolling back up the East Coast.

Oh dear. Im not referring to localized flooding im referring to 100 year flooding with commercial and residential areas under water. Im not in seattle im much further north where the real flooding of washington state takes place in my little county with our river of death running through it. 1921 was the last great flood i believewas and we are inching closer to our 100 year due date. Kinda like the earthquake statistics... inching closer and closer to the big one. I know what normal is and a little wind and drizzle all month does not concern me. But a monstrosity of moisture that were to move slow and continue development would wreck our waters with torrential rain... and catastrophic flooding.

It's not going to hit Alaska it will grow and grow till it's massive and take out North East Asia like Sandy did but much worse.
