Stay frosty . |

Nothing new on the storm MHO.. This looks typical for this side of the states... We tend to get these storms and either the bring weather from Hawaii towards us or it drops down a bit and brings lots of rain or snow.. dunno how this fits but here in portland oregon aside from the chemtrailing still going on above the cloud layer (cleared enough to see it yesterday) the clouds on a lower level were coming from the south heading north and a layer above that they were from the east going west. the layers were close, on top of each other. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 17964350 United States 11/03/2012 12:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've been watching this thing, and it appears almost stationary--it's been spinning storms into the PNW for the last 24 hrs. portland oregon...yesterday was a bit of rain but also sunshine, today overcast, light rain. temps warm-ish, a break from the freezing ass brr we've been having since around autumn equinox. cold at night tho. i would not call what we are experiencing a 'storm.' |

Black Diamond User ID: 6838274 United States 11/03/2012 01:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | basically, it's a huge low system being buffered by a major high pressure system in the mid-upper-north states that will keep it in alaska/canada unless it gets modified. PNW may see winds & storming. he calls it a superstorm. it may move it may sit there for a while....forecast off models and other high pressure areas show it sitting for a while then moving north due to aforementioned high pressure systems. Quoting: Fast Forward The real problem is that the drugs cost $7 to make and $10,000 and month to buy. Check out gleevac if I need that drug it cost $10,000 a month. I read it only cost $7 a pill to make it. I do feel sorry for people everywhere seems like society is breaking down more each day. Health care will be only for the rich along with fresh water and food. This is the one expected to bring snow/possible blizzard conditions to the NE US next week and put a nail in NJ/NY's coffin................... We live up in the PNW. Hmmm.. Thanks for the confirmation. Anyone have an approximate time frame of when the coast will be hit with this? I'm in a suburb of Vancouver and am always reasonably well-prepped but it would be nice to have some idea of when all hell will break loose. We're still antsy up here about the pipe bomb someone left on the Skytrain tracks just in time to fuck up yesterday's Friday rush hour commute. |

We tend to get these storms and either the bring weather from Hawaii towards us or it drops down a bit and brings lots of rain or snow.. Rain & wind....it's normal for these storms in Nov in the PNW. If we get colder temps, then it's snow east of the mountains here. I think you mean west of the Cascades. It's all good S/G. I meant east of the mountains :)...Cascades yes. But, referring to eastern WA ;) We get the Nov snow, west gets the rains. Oh OK. I thought you were referring to the White Thanksgiving we had in 2010 over here on the W. side. Cheers. Click on the wind(left hand side) then barely drag the map until the wind shows up. If you look there is one forming right off the coast of California with the same(58-61knots) wind speed. I'm not trying to spread fear I just keep my eye on this stuff daily and wanted to share this information. Also if you want you can also see the one off of Alaska too. But that one is much weaker.
