Re: So I saw Cloud Atlas today...
I just watched Cloud Atlas yesterday. Very complex movie in how it was presented. Its basic premise is how choices made in the Now Moment, ripple through time, even effecting our future selves.

lol, I must have been 'reading' the premise before I knew what it was about.

Just think of it. The depths of one persons soul is infinite and boundless. And that is just one small fractal in this massive big picture. Imagine changing one persons soul, and how it will reflect throughout the entirety of future self. Imagine over 7 billion boundless souls changing, at the same moment, into the same direction, the same massive revelations. Imagine how that would radiate across all 7 billions souls future paths and all directions, in all times, in all places. Not to mention our friendlies, and our antagonists.

So freakin incredible. There is so much more than merely this material existence. Material existence is literally a mere shadow to what reality is. It will be beautiful when it all aligns, and converges.

So, is it about reincarnation? Nobody has explicitly said that, but I saw an interview with Tom Hanks and that's what it sounded like to me. A couple of comments here sounded like that, but nobody has actually said it.

Indeed it is. Because hardly anyone has the soul strength to escape hell episodes in between, where the vast, vast majority of people lands and which are waaaaaaaaaaay longer, then the short episodes in this propaganda movie. :)

Re: So I saw Cloud Atlas today...
I absolutely loved this film, it really took you on an amazing ride and makes you ponder life and all of it's possibilities. I want to see it again because I keep wondering about the shooting star birth mark.

At first I thought that it was the same person in all the different lives, but that was confusing because all of the main characters had it at one point. So, I'm now wondering if the shooting star actually means that person does something to dramatically change the future. At the time it seems like such a small step, like the idea of opposing slavery when everyone else tells you that it has been and will always be, but you trust that instinct to stand up for it and eventually everyone changes. And the girl in the future who stands up for what she knows is horribly wrong, even though she knows she will die to do it, and so will everyone else supporting her, but it ends up changing the world. And she ends up being worshiped in future generations.

Very interesting movie and gives you a lot to think about.

Re: So I saw Cloud Atlas today...
Yet another shiny propaganda piece to keep people from loving the creator (God) by redirecting that love to his creation (a person). There is no such thing as a human 'soulmate'; God is your soulmate. Put your love and faith in God, not a person (including your child). God loves you far more than any person could or does, and he is working 24/7 for your benefit (even if you don't believe he exists).

Love humans carefully, knowing that their love is conditional and that humans are prone to betrayal. The only one you should give yourself 100% to is God. He will never betray you.

Except when he sends you to fiery torment for eternity when you make a choice out of two possible sadistic choices, and it just happens to be the "wrong" one. LOL! God can go buttfuck satan for all I care!

It is a fantastic movie. The Main similarity with the Illuminati is how the Asian girls are kept as slaves and programed and dumb. Like the Illuminati's "Alters". You can find the similarities if you google Wizard of Oz and Illuminati Alters probably.

Re: So I saw Cloud Atlas today...
I saw this movie with my soul mate and let me tell you, it is more than just a movie. It is a concept that should be known throughout society.

We are all intrinsically linked through space and time to each other. The bonds transcend life times because the information that is our consciousness does not just vanish when we 'die'. Call it a soul or what ever you like its one of the things they don't want you to remember you have.

People of ancient times knew this during the last Golden Age of humanity. It has since been repressed by those who enslave us.

This movie explained how me and my fiance feel about one and other to a T. She thought so herself.

I hope I am right. Because if I am...life might be about to get a lot better! If I am wrong we are fucked and on the doorstep of a police state =( Either way I have my soul mate. Nothing else matters except for her.

Re: So I saw Cloud Atlas today...
Yeah this thread is a few months old, but I just saw this movie last night on dvd.

I knew absolutely nothing about the film. Did not know there was a book, had not seen a trailer, didn't even know it existed. Needless to say, I was confused about what the hell I was watching for the first hour or so, but it was a fun hour or so and I kept watching.

I really enjoyed it. It has some big themes, but doesn't take itself too seriously. It has some bad make-up and some bad accents, but it seemed all part of the fun. and yet the major themes are sufficiently addressed. It's a little all over the place, but it works and forms a complete movie. They throw a lot of characters and timelines at you in a hurry, and the fact that different characters are played by the same actors is confusing at first if you aren't expecting it.

You don't have to believe in reincarnation or any other new age or old age religious or philosophical ideas to enjoy the movie or relate to the themes within it. Think of it is a thought experiment.

I am probably going to watch it again tonight, so I can see the beginning with more understanding of who is who and what the hell is happening.

Have to agree it's a beautiful movie, and this coming from a guy...
A group of friends and I saw it cuz of Tom Hanks and it's a fairly long movie considering matinee prices around here...

Def worth the watch, especially if you believe in any sort of reincarnation at sll or the idea that what you do today matters tomorrow.

Haven't read the book but am planning on looking into it... now all that hollywierd needs to produce is a China Mieville film >.<

Just watched it for the 5th time with my very devout Christian parents who haven't ever seen it.

They loved it. I've seen it 5 times now, what does that tell you! Each time I divine something new.

Truly a great book/film.

We're all grown ass adults now. No need to be embarrassed. It's not like it was porn or something.

...and it was wonderful. Those of you who label CA as an Illuminati propoganda are mistaken. Enjoy it for the ride it takes you on! hf

The number one reason I went to go see this movie is my husband. I felt a very strong feeling upon seeing him for the first time, one like none before.

A few years ago, I was in kind of a flux. One day, I got a phone call that changed my life. It wasn't an instant change, it took more than a month to respond.

I was offered a more secure job with less pay. I haha'd it thinking I could keep on keepin on. Fast forward a month and my job is gone.

I called the friend who offered me a job, and got it.

That first day, I saw my husband. The image is burned into my mind. I knew when I saw this man he was special. But I just continued on the path I chose...

One day, I happened to be ill, and went to work late. That was the day that I ran into my future husband. Had I not been sick, I would have been gone for the day, chance missed.

We got married, and I believe with every bit of my soul that we are meant to be together. Never in my life had I looked at a complete stranger and saw my soulmate.

To me, it made sense. To everyone else? It is how they see it. hf
