NO such thing as peace with the current system. The only way peace will come is for 1000 years with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. HE will establish HIS own government on this earth and there will be peace .... Read of it in the Bible. |

A few hours later - same thing in Chicago & 20 minutes more would bring another hit in downtown St.Louis, this one about the size of a school bus. It rocked the entire county and felt like a small earth quake. Later as it began to get dark outside, we could see the full spread of micro-meteorites that had been zipping past us, all but invisible in the broad light of day. Windshields would just mysteriously smash every so often, accompanied by an eerie fizzy-zipping noise, and billboards slowly smoldered in the streetlight’s glare, punctured and ignited by the deadly unseen projectiles. Now with the setting sun, the sky began to fill with glowing lethal fireflies, like cosmic tracer rounds from some distant sniper way out there in the Camouflage Nebula. It’s been more than 18 hours now and the asteroids are falling in earnest all over the globe. Fires rage out of control in every major city, and in most places the power is out. Just one basketball-sized rock travelling at 30,000+ mph can take out an entire row of apartment buildings with a blinding flash in a mind-numbing whirlwind of smoke and flame and ash. Roving bands of wild drunken revelers hoot and holler in the streets of every major city. Others stagger and dance, celebrating with Roman enthusiasm their "End of the World" parties. The revelry is occasionally punctuated by the sound of gunfire, followed by the mournful screams and protracted wailings of the victims and their loved ones. We remain in our basement, hunkered up against the poured concrete walls of the foundation, hoping the house above our heads will provide enough resistance to survive an extremely close or small direct impact. What? You said SPECULATE. |

Hmm, let’s look for any sources that can add substance to this idea. |

Children of the Atom (OP) User ID: 20257839 United States 11/06/2012 12:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One week after Hurricane Sandy, human crisis and class tensions grow A week after Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast of the United States, large numbers of storm victims remain without power, heat or a roof over their heads as the cold weather sets in. With the death toll over 100 already, the crisis could be worsened by a winter-like storm scheduled to hit the region later this week, which is expected to bring heavy rains and snow. Quoting: As of Monday, 1.8 million still remained without power, 900,000 of this total in the state of New Jersey. Utility companies warned that it could be weeks before electricity was restored in some areas. A new storm could knock out power for those who have had it restored, or produce entirely new power outages. Source: [link to www.wsws.org] |
