What makes things even more fun... let's say one of the caverns ignites, the dominoe effect will be all of the caverns that are close will ignite too, I guess then we will if fact have what the US navy map shows... if not worse.

so then new orleans goes into the gulf of mexico and mad people die?

cause that's sort of what I've been waiting on... THE shit-hits-the-fan event. we all know we're waiting on this one event, but nobody knows exactly what it will be.

Well not just New Orleans... Think of it this way, if a storm comes up and let's say one lightning bolt close by provides an ignition source, there could be a large chunk of the earth missing. There is not ANY hard stone in the area, mudstone and sandstone don't stand a chance.

Please keep in mind I am no expert and hopefully I am completely wrong but I have been following this and getting familiar with the geology of this area, IMOP this is a very bad situation, and that is why there is not any MSN reporting on this. It blows my mind that most people don't have a clue about this.

So, is anyone going to bring up the effing creepy Simpson's episode last night? With all of the hype that followed the 911/Simpson's weirdness, this is quite disconcerting.wtf
