Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26873559 It's amazing isn't it?
Considering:
-all the resources Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Venezuela thrown behind Obama
-all the MSM shillery for Obama over and beyond their usual M.O.
-all the FAKE "deals" Obama tried to strike right before election with Iran
-the Hurricane Sandy
-all the harm both the Tea Party and Ron Paul did to undermine Mitt Romney
-Mitt Romney's lack of charisma & charm to make younger women voters wet themselves
-the 100's of millions of dollars in character assissination by Obama in Ohio
-Chris Christie, Colin Powell, Michael Bloomberg last-minute betrayal
-Romney's Mormon faith
....that Mitt Romney is THIS close to winning the election!!!
Wow if Mittens can pull it off. Just wow.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19191180 It really is ironic that for all their professed love for their party and America.... both the Tea Party and Ron Paul-tards
have cost Mitt Romney and Republican Party the elections.
Tea Party forced Romney to go way-right on his normally very moderate positions during the Primary -- which ended up alienating women voters & galvanized both Hispanics and young people, who in the first 3 years of Obama's presidency were pretty UNHAPPY unhappy with him.
Whereas Ron Paul sang his Siren Song to quite a few traditional Republican voters, especially among the young people.... RP got so many bizarre, unrelealistic ideas in their had, he so ratcheted up their expectations.... that when the Massachussets Moderate, consensus-builder like Romney failed to support their whole
"Close the Fed! Declare Medicare is unconstitutional! Iran is our bestest friend, pick Ayatollah Khamenei 4 Vice-President! aaarghaaRGHGHGHGH!!" insanity....... Ron Paul--niks crashed the RNC and completely disowned Romney.
In the meanwhile, Obama somehow managed to pull his wide, master-of-disaster coalition and the various disparate interest groups & conflicting philosophies that comprise the Democratic Party.... well, Obama's people somehow found a way to wake them up and drag them to the polls in key swing states -- at times literally.
If Romney narrowly loses, that's what has doomed him -- stunning disloyalty among his own party.
Very sad for America. Utter fools.
