On August 11, 2010 NASA announced that it was less than 2 weeks away from initiating Project GRIP (Genesis and Rapid Intensification Processes) – their quest for the holy grail of hurricane research. Project GRIP discovered the exact conditions required to kickstart a tropical depression into a hurricane. Scientists already knew how hurricanes develop and how to steer them but NASA wanted to perfect the processes that intensifies depressions to form into very intense, spinning storms of mass destruction. NASA was creating a weather modification weapon of mass destruction.

NASA used various weather modifying technology to develop, intensify and steer a hurricane. The available technology included a powerful microwave radiometer and a “radar” and a NASA-designed and built lidar (laser radar). The laser radar were mounted on a Global Hawks and were used to heat the top of a hurricane – to weaken a hurricane and steer them. The “radar” that NASA used was the Sea-Based X-Band Radar - a floating, self-propelled, military controlled and operated mobile radar station capable of operating in high winds and heavy seas. The Sea-Based X-Band Radar Platform (SBX) is part of the U.S. Defense Department Ballistic Missile Defense System.

There are THREE US HAARP Weather Modification systems – the land based system in Alaska, the Sea Based SBX and the mini shuttle X-37B were all built for use as military weather modifying weapons of mass destruction – in direct violation of the Convention on the Prohibition of Military or Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques

As much as I'd like to I can't blame Obama for not going to NY he wanted to, but as most of us know a Presidential visit requires a boatload of security and preps - something that most storm ravaged areas just can't spare on a Presidential Photo Op.

The Mantoloking Bridge is constructed with a lot of cement - that didn't stop it from being destroyed. In fact Mantoloking has been cut into 3 islands (when it used to be just 1) - try preparing for that tard.

I know the Eastland patents proclaim altering the Jet stream by a small amount (which can add up over time) it's just that I think you need WAY MORE energy then is practically available to steer anything outside of a few weeks.

HAARP get's all of it's reputation by concentrating energy in one spot but at the end of the day that "one spot" is a stone in the river that flows around it.

Now you could intelligently nudge that spot (stone) to keep ahead of the wave of the (jet stream) river but...

My heart goes out to everyone in the NE. Living along the gulf coast and having to make it through Ivan, the edges of katrina as well as other hurricanes over the years..I know some of what you guys are going through. Its just amazing how much we count on electricity in this day and time.. We lost power for 10 days during Ivan...national guard trucks on corners giving out free bags of ice was very well appreciated...and the guards with rifles standing at the entrance of walmart (which was running on generator) only letting in so many people at a time to get things they needed was a very surreal experience as well. Gl and keep your chins up...it'll get better...it just feels like you are alone in a world where nobody cares...trust me I know. But believe me there are many of us who care. :)

Even in the worst of winter storms, they get you connected

Abundant well water and so many people have wood burning stoves.

Plus plenty of cattle and crops and delivery trucks can get into town from any direction.

Even if your stranded on the road during a freak storm, they had the National Guard doing rescues of people from their car right away.

Theres too much importance here to let the place go and delay help.. They protect all the military bases, and bread baskets and land where the corporations raise the cattle.

Midwest is the way to go. You can have a wood burning stove, and your own underground aquifer water..

I wanted to go help in my home town(I spent two thirds of my life living at the shore - many of the areas utterly destroyed right now), but unfortunately I had to work tonight. Still hard to wrap my head around the fact that many of the areas I lived in, loved in, learned in, have been radically changed forever. I'm glad you're ok and your areas not as bad.

Didn't read all the pages, but did get the general gist.

Glad you got your power back on ... since with power you can have heat and keep food. One big thing to keep in mind for those who have never been through a HUGE disaster before: It takes TIME to get basic infrastructure back up and running! Those along the Gulf Coast know this since they have been hit many times in the last 100 years. Those in parts of Florida know this since they have also been hit hard a few times. Shoot ... even those in tornado country who have had to deal with the mega tornadoes know this.

By mid next week the "easy to repair" places will mostly be back t some semblence of normal. For the "hard hit" and "hard to repair" locations, well your lives may be different going forward.

Government ... and volunteer organizations ... can only do so much when Mother Nature decides to spank the human race. It is NOT the fault of government that it happened ... and government can NOT right things quickly if it is B-I-G.

Patience and a good attitude about life are what counts when life becomes difficult. If this storm is the worst disaster that happens in a person's life ... WELL THEY ARE LUCKY.
