Since It's been a few days and I haven't seen anyone posting this news article I'll go ahead and post it. Seems the Mars Rover Curiosity has taken some pictures and the scientists at NASA compiled several images into one larger and more detailed one. Quoting from the original article found here [link to mars.jpl.nasa.gov] On Sol 84 (Oct. 31, 2012), NASA's Curiosity rover used the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) to capture this set of 55 high-resolution images, which were stitched together to create this full-color self-portrait. The mosaic shows the rover at "Rocknest," the spot in Gale Crater where the mission's first scoop sampling took place. Four scoop scars can be seen in the regolith in front of the rover. What are your thoughts about this? Were the pictures taken on Hawaii /some secret meth lab under NYC? I personally was stunned by the beautiful Martian sky and remembered Ray Bradbury. If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes.

Did their science and ended up without the camera arm and with shadows from many angles.
