Lol...it goes to show you what people are interested in is their main focus. Forget about everything else. On the other hand I can see them being mad spending all that time and training and thousands of dollars to be in this race only to be cancelled at the last minute so you still spend the money in New York...even a day earlier cancellation would have saved so many people their money on flights and hotels, babysitters, time off work, and such.

He finally realized he was going to look like a douche, so he cancelled it. Too late. If you are going to cancel, do it before these people travel from all over to race. I am sure the runners expected the race to be cancelled. Idiot Bloomberg was the one who said it must go on.
