Sinkhole Doom!

My Dad worked the oil industry for 40 years. He told me a month ago that whole area was going down. Family goes to Yuma every winter. He told everybody to stay at home. Said 350km wasn't far enough away.

The pressure under the surface is buiding up in the area and its going to rip the place apart. 500 mile trouble zone from the spill. 1000 miles including the coast lines.

Might even trigger the New Madrid. Don't know. Even they don't know.

They are using and moving the reserves stored in the area. Heads Up.

So the entire ground underneath the surface is liquid..and it's all going to sink for 1,000 miles..

30,000 feet is about 5 miles. It doesn't look that big to me. But I wouldn't be driving my car on the paving by the sink hole.

5 stars for truth. Man this situation looks worse and worse every time I see it. They don't know what the hell they can do to stop it or what its going to do in the long term. This is scary. More so than a whole lot of crap they have on the news every night, this should be a top story along with the BP spill that isn't sealed up anymore and Fukushima. Humanity has treated our Earth so badly, and we forgot that the Earth nurtured and cared for us when we were 'evolving'.

Mass extinctions of the animals that should be sharing our world with us, using too many of our natural resources, and just plain ignorance has humanity and our world in a very bad spot.

It's so unimaginable, I can't wrap my head around it. Not only the water/land but what goes up in flames? Gases, toxins into out air quality, plumes like we've never experienced in a lifetime. Scary.

Just curious and had a thought... Has anyone ever wondered if the release of the pressure from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill contributed to the April 2011 Fukushima earthquake? Say that the North American Plate pressure released collided with the Pacific Plate and disrupting the placement of the Eurasian Plate?

The sinkhole is a pretty unsettling event. I hope it doesn't end up how I envision it.

That whole area is sitting on a huge Gas and oil field. Runs for hundreds of miles. When it goes it will take everything with it . Think Tsunami's and Earthquakes. Think Whoooshhhhh. Starting to get the big picture...? There's already been seismic events and yes it could trigger part of the New Madrid or the New Madrid will trigger it. That whole region is under enormous pressure. Has been historically. They should not be drilling there. BP'S blow out preventor was altered to try and contain the pressure in that field. They know its too high. They admitted the alterations after the fact.Done for the pressure. There's your proof. They never had to technology to hold that kind of pressure ever. Still don't. They are playing craps.

30,000 ft.? It that a reported radius of this sinkhole? Bear in mind that a mile is 5,280 ft., so 30,00 ft. is about a 5.3 something mile radius. Clearly, the video shown via helicopter doesn't depict this size of area?

If i lived anywhere near there i'd be keeping my eye on the weather. If lightening was to hit the trees i fear it could just be the fuse it needs

I am not one for making predictions, in fact I never have. But I would say this area has until spring, I myself am worried about the spring storms that roll through the south, there is no way to avoid lightning strikes in that area, and by then all it will take is one little bolt...

I think so too, but that is not good because water and the salt domes is not a good mix.

I don't know what fantasy world you live in, but that's not even CLOSE to 30,000 feet in size.
