I updated the original photo on the first page, so it becomes more clear now, that it's a reflection of my friend in the mirror of the lens.

Yes, that was my question. His process would give you a stitched image of someone standing in place with no indication of a camera at all. There is no process that would allow the camera to take a picture of itself, no matter how the images are stitched together.

OP, I enhanced the image in the reflection with the latest digital refocusing software available on the market currently.

I think it shows your friend quite clearly.

regardless of the OP claim that his buddy is Peter Parker I've seen hundreds of stitched together photos and this is NOT stitched together. Please point out where this image is stitched together. I can't find one area.

there is a forum that name i wont mention because you might go there and make bigger idiot from yourself. There they have ultra high res photos taken by Mahli aparature stiched together. And from what i know there is no friend of your in that picture(12mb in size)

The robotic arm-mounted Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI)took this composite photo of Spirit. Clearly, the arm has been edited out.

I really don't think some people understand the question.

So there's a camera attached to the rover, up on some arm and facing the rover, taking a bunch of little photos that NASA pieced together to make one image.

Regardless of whether that arm is straight under the camera or off to the side, there should be SOMETHING sticking out from the rover that goes out of the visible frame to where the camera is. A drawing would help, but here's the best I can do with keyboard:

No matter where that camera arm goes, it's attached to the rover SOMEWHERE. Yet there is NOTHING in the photo, composite or not, that extends out from the rover to where the camera is.

So all you Einsteins, throwing insults because you don't get the question: WHERE IS THE CAMERA ARM?
