WTF!

Even if they could win a legal fight over a haunted house, their videa evidence is weaker than weak. Bowling pin fell over? Just because no one was touching it?? People were walking on the floor. All it takes for a floor board to wobble under them for it to fall down. Now if it fell when no one was in the room, maybe. If it fell repeatedly, maybe. As for the light, lots of houses have the odd tricky wiring in them.
As for the people suing??? I WISH i could rent a haunted house!! Would be awesome. I would pay extra for it. The landlord will let it go to court, make a bit of a buzz, then evict those deadbeat tennants and rent the house out as a haunted house for twice what they were paying.

Wtf was expecting to see video of a ghost.

Didnt even sound remotely like "let it burn" on that evp. And suing for your money back just because your house is haunted, if youre not short on cash then whats the problem, entitled?

If that house was reported, by other tenants before, as being haunted or that someone died in it and the tenants were told, they have a case.

Fuck! The title is misleading! I thought the ghost went to court because it was caught on video and was being evicted from it's house as a result.

We lived in a haunted house for 9 years. The ghost was friendly and we all learned how to get along.

The ghost was obviously attached to the home.

First Christmas in the house, we had very little money.
Christmas morning I ran down to throw a load of laundry in before anyone else was up and leaning up against the washer was a beautiful stained glass window.

Excited by my "gift", I ran upstairs and woke my son to thank him for it. He knew nothing about the window.

I gave the window a place of honour on a table in a corner of the dining room. Everyday I would arrive home from work to find the glass face down on the table.

I tried propping it with heavy weights, I even duct taped it to the wall. Still came home to find it face down.

My neighbour came over for tea and I told her the story.
She laughed and said "Mary" loved the window and had her bed moved to under it's location in the living room during her last days.

I moved the window to the right corner of the living room and it never fell again.

So many stories from this house, I could write a book.

I still miss that house, it had a wonderful, positive vibe.

On May 4th, 2012 the real-life haunted house case of Chinchilla and Callan vs. Lopez was heard by Judge Marilyn Milian of the nationally syndicated television program, The People's Court. Although the case will not be seen on television until the start of the shows new season in September, a judgement was made.

Judge Marilyn Milian ruled on behalf of the landlord, Dr. Richard Lopez, a New Jersey dentist, and homeowner of the reportedly haunted rental house. Judge Milian ordered Josue Chinchilla and Michele Callan to pay Lopez three month's rent, and since many of their possessions are still in the house, the couple would also forfeit their security depost.

In addition the this ruling, Judge Milian ordered the landlord, Dr. Richard Lopez, to spend a night in the allegedly haunted house, as it's only fair for a landlord to experience what he is expecting for other couples to live in when they rent the house.
