there is absolutely no way the gas infrastructure was damaged whatsoever i was on the island during and after the storm and like i said there was no damage exept a couple houses at the very south end and 2 houses towards the northern end
if thats what they are saying they are trying to get fema and feds to foot the bill for the aging gas lines they been trying to get funding to replace and talking bout replacing for about 4-6 years now

You would think it should be standard procedure to cut-off gas and electricity to mandatory evacuation areas to help prevent fires. they did cut of the gas lines , why u think there was hardly any fires.
