2008 was a special election in that it was the first black president. Many white who voted for Obama in 2008 and will not vote for him in 2012 will be sensitive to accusations of racism, particularly since many of those same white voters took pride in their support of a the first black president in 2008.

I'm not saying Silver will be wrong. My point is that the polling results of a white v. white election will always behave differently than a white v. black election and the effect will be more pronounced this time due to the historic nature of Obama's election.

I believe Romney is going to win....but we shall see. Hopefully if Obama wins, white people will not riot. :)

Consider these facts also:

There is a significant shift in the electorate in 2012 compared to 2008, in favor of Republicans.

Fewer Republicans will break with their party and support Obama compared with 2008. A good number of Republicans foolishly accepted Obama's hype, lies and reverse racism in 2008 and voted for him, they won't be fooled twice. No Republican who supported McCain in 2008 will switch now and support Obama in 2012, either.

More so-called Democrats will support Romney compared with 2008. Most are Communists or clueless libtards, but there may be a few that have not drunk the koolaid and still want to live in a free society.

Independents got hookwinked by the hope and charge bullshit in 2008 and actually believed Obama was who he claimed to be during the campaign, the great uniter and Mr. Transparency. Lol! And Libertarian Republicans got such a butt-hurt because Ron Paul was proclaimed winner of RNC, that they demostratively STABBED Romney in the back by either not voting or voting for Communist anti-Christ personified -- Obama!

Even the "moderate" Establishment Republicans betrayed Romney when he needed them most: Chris Christie, Michael Bloomberg and Colin Powell all within days all but endorsed Obama. Disgusting and very sad.


So it's a freakin miracle that despite all that betrayal by various splinter factions within GOP, and also the unrelenting character-assassination campaign by the Obama folks..... Romney appears to be as close as he is in Ohio and according to one poll even competitive in Pennsylvania.

In the end, however, I am afraid one thing will trump all others: Democrats/Communists WANT THE POWER MORE than Republicans do. And they will sell their collective to the Devil, to get it. So watch out.
