I worked with a Japanese guy who was addicted to Tim Horton's. I never really saw the appeal. This may sound unpopular, but I think McDonald's has good coffee.

I love Tim hortons donuts so much that If Tim hortons did not exist .. Canada would not be Canada for me !! I need my Tim hortons and hockey lol

Neverthless, if tim hortons is anything like dunkin donuts, their coffee probably sucks balls.

Grind your own I say, but I drink green tea so...

Although it was not stated in the OP, I can garuntee this post was about the doughnuts. If you eat that shit who cares if it's GMO or not. It's about the coffee, and many Canadians and Americans both love the stuff.

Doughnuts are gross.

Timmies is a fucking rip off and you have to wait for coffee while some losers order sandwiches and shit.

Or you gotta return the coffee cause its burnt or tastes like shit.

There's nothing special about either DD or Tims, IMHO.

I like just plain, decently brewed coffee with a little cream or milk, no sugar. As long as it's moderately strong, not weak or watered down, I like it.

I love Turkish-style coffee, but it's hard to get on a daily basis.

At home I generally use a French press or stove top espresso maker, and add a little evaporated milk or if I want it a little sweet, condensed milk. And for an instant coffee, Nescafe ain't bad.

Honestly, a cup of coffee from 7-11 or similar place is just as good as DD or Tims, IMHO. And like another poster said, they give a million different flavors and what-not to choose from, if you want to add it. Their iced coffee and ice tea is decent, too.

Yeah, Starbucks is a status thing; many people carry their SB cub around like a fashion/status accessory. Their coffee and everything else they sell is aver priced [somethings grossly], and the coffee IMHO sucks. Taste just like generic French roast for the most part. And to top it off, they make you add the cream, milk, sugar, top, etc. after charging you an arm and a leg.

There is a Timmy's right by the Empire State Building.

I rarely drink it anymore because I drink mine black and that shit taste burnt.

I now buy Cuban Beans and grind them and then filter it through a gizmo that I have for a Keurig. And that factory coffee for the Keurig is over priced and tastes way worse than Tims!
