Hypothetical question to those with "Faith"
If you can genuinely bring yourself to imagine a scenario where your religious belief were reviled to be totally incorrect, how would you feel about how to have conducted yourself up until this point?

Do you think you would feel embarrassed for having such strong convictions for something that was false. Would you maybe feel regret for trying to pass them false beliefs onto others. Or would you feel non of those, feeling that you have only acted with the best intentions?

I guess no one with faith would like to go anywhere near this question. I wonder why?

Re: Hypothetical question to those with "Faith"
Seeming as no one with "Faith" seems to want to answer the question, maybe people without religious convictions might like to role play as someone of "Faith" to try and answer the question.

This could be entertaining popcorn

"where your religious belief......."

You have a system of beliefs as well OP......although you might not call them "religious" beliefs.

You were not raised out in the forest by animals......but had information and beliefs fed to you since the day that you were born.......by parents, friends, teachers, society, writers, philosophers, etc., etc., etc.

You have incorporated various thoughts, viewpoints, etc of other human beings into your current belief system.

It might not be called Christianity......or have a formal name. There are 1000's of belief systems available out there.

We will label yours as: # 597.

Before I met Christ......my formal belief system was: # 314.

He came to me.....and corrected me......so I gave up # 314......and now follow Him.

Re: Hypothetical question to those with "Faith"
I can ask you the very same question. What would you feel when you die and stand in front of the heavens gates?

I'm a man of faith, if, for some reason, my faith is proven to be wrong, I will feel upset, yes. But I will also feel glad as I lived my life being the best human being as I could.

So, if I'm wrong, I would have wasted some time worshiping a God that supposedly should exist, but nothing beyond that. But if you are wrong, then you have lost your soul. Who's got more to lose here?

"MY SPIRIT, YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT. YOUR NAME IS HOLY. MAY YOUR REALM BE INCARNATE IN ME. MAY YOUR POWER REVEAL ITSELF WITHIN ME, ON EARTH AND IN THE HEAVEN. GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. Why do you need faith in God to help the poor, helpless and less fortunate?

Love, peace, hope and joy are because of faith in God? Interesting.

It's sad that you people are mind controlled to think you need faith in God to manifest these attributes.

The entire concept of "God" that most of you think of was cunningly crafted by your controllers. Watch THX 1138.

I'm sure the coffers of the churches of your different faiths' are eternally happy. If you don't contribute, you'll go to hell!

Believing without seeing. I think your notion of "seeing" and mine are two different things.

Well said, and I agree. People without faith find it comforting to mock those different than they are, yet they expect those they are mocking to respond with love. I would agree that there are those who talk the talk, but do not walk the walk so to speak.

The bottom line is this: people of faith should demonstrate their faith with their example, and let their deeds speak for them. If they do not, then it becomes clear that they do not believe what they are saying, and they are more conflicted than those they have decided to judge.
"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
