She is scared to death that people will be using candles and with the cold weather coming will be starting unsafe fires to keep warm, which could result in devastating fires which could just jump from house to house. And if they can't even get food and water to these people they sure as hell won't be able to get fire trucks in there. They already had that huge fire which destroyed nearly 100 homes, and Miggy is begging anyone with contacts in the area to warn them about being EXTREMELY careful about any fires which they may start.

Come on folks,ban together.Typically in a situation like this,it will take about 2 weeks before aide will arrive from the gov. and not by the red cross,not that they do much anyway.That being said,these folks need to do all they can to be understanding,as hard as that may be.They need to join together and do what they can to support each other and fend for themselves,sort of speak,and I don't mean by looting from others either.Survival skills,if any are known,need to kick into overdrive immediately.IF they have to, walk out of there,and start over somewhere else.Just don't hope someone will save you,feed you and keep you warm,and sit there starving to death,freezing etc.I am honestly surprised how much clean up has started,and electric being restored,it's a long slow process,but come on americans,we have been through tough times before.Let's show the world what we can be made of! Bloomberg warned them BEFORE the storm came that certain communities would be very hard hit and that help might take a few weeks to arrive. This is clearly what has happened. People are saying "there's no food out here, there's no food out here" -- what's stopping them from going to where the food is, instead of demanding the food come to them?
