Re: My Thoughts On This Election
I am truly torn! While I detest Obama and recognize that a second term will push our great nation over the cliff, I perceive Romney as a "bait and switch" candidate. He supports NDAA and Obamacare (although he will tell you otherwise, just look at how closely his healthcare plan in Mass. resembles this!) And although he appears to be the opposite of Obama, he was the guest of honor at the Bohemian Grove this year and that tells me that he will just pick up where Obama leaves off!

Here is the way I see it...The Titanic has struck the iceberg! Changing captains at this point will not matter one way or the other when our main priority should be getting to the LIFEBOATS!

If I thought it would make a difference, I would write Jesus Christ in on the ballot as He is the only hope for this country...He IS the "Lifeboat" that we must all get in if we are to be saved. That said, I do not want to see Obama win a second term so I will likely vote for Romney but even Obama's people say they will cheat to win so wouldn't surprise me if he is declared the winner...albeit close so most don't question.

The winner of this election is already written in the stars, I just have to weigh whether or not I want to be accountable for voting for a Mormon cult member over a Muslim...or NEITHER!

Re: My Thoughts On This Election
I am a conservative, and am non-partisan. My general election vote will be split, as usual. There are good and bad people on both sides of the political fence. You have to look at the person, and not the party.
That being said, as a conservative, a Christian, and a Patriotic American, there is no way I can sell my soul for empty promises,or turn my back on my country for political correctness. While I do not like Romney, the other choice is to vote for pure evil, and that is exactly what is currently occupying the White House, IMO.
Wake up, and look as to what is happening to us, to our country ! Peoples rights are being taken away bit by bit, every day. Executive orders to bypass congress have been rampant. Religious freedom is being squashed. Traditional families are being denigrated to unpolitically correct status, as "anything goes" is being shoved down our throats, and our childrens.
What has happened to us, that we are afraid to speak our minds, or reveal our deep seated beliefs, because we may be homophobic, ant-islamic, or just plain politically uncorrect in the eyes of this current administration?
We must take a stand now, or history will repeat itself again.
Do we really want a resurrection of the Soviet Union, Amerika style, or even worse? This is where we are headed. Take your blinders off, and see the truth as to what is unfolding before us.
It is up to us to put a stop to this madness. Complacency has brought down many a country, many an empire. We are headed the same direction. While you may not like the alternate choice to what we have now, unless the brakes are applied hard, the slippery slope we are currently descending, will have no end, until the edge of the cliff appears.
I am voting for Romney. My vote, and those of others, are the hope for a change back to what America was 4 years ago.

I heard most of that during the Bush regime. So, you'll vote for kids becoming Mormons, right? One man and 25 wives. WTF do I care, I'm an Englishman living in Scandinavia.

Obviously, you do not understand the Mormon religion and instead rely upon fringe groups knowing that any fringe group does not represent the base or core beliefs of any group. However being the Englishman your upbringing embraces socialism now communism and self awareness and individualism is frowned upon and you re content being cared for as long s the government gravy train has enough rich people to support you.

Mockery removes all shreds of credibility in posts. Grasping at straws, and attacking instead of presenting facts.

So how come people are still suffering in the USA and not being able to get a hospital bed? Christian publicans stood in the way, thats why. The USA really did pave the way for the rest of us westerners, and we are very grateful, but you Americans are now decades behind us.

WHO is not getting a hospital bed when needed? Give me one example here is the USA. BTW, lets look at England. People are on death lists over there. Seems like there are a whole bunch of "expendables" who cannot get a hospital bed in England, yes?

I do not like Romney, but, OTOH, seeing the alternative, there is no choice but to vote for Romney. If obama wins, America loses.

You want to talk about England because I'm from England. Ok, let's talk about England because I'm from England - where there are next to no children dying because of allergy - unlike in the USA. In the USA doctors make far more money on kids coming back for ever and ever and EVER because of allergies, and so they make sure never to test them for any such thing. It's all for the good of Ewing oil.

You do not live here in America, you are English, by your declaration, so turnabout is fair play, yes?
You are lying. Kids are regularly tested for allergens, and have been for years. When I was a kid, I went to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, to get tested for allergens.
As for medical care in the UK, I guess when you embrace socialism and a nanny government, you can expect long waits to see a doctor for an illness, if you get to see a doctor at all before you die of the illness.

I'm somehow happy to know you were one of the lucky ones. I guess youre white. I'm not a socialist, and neither is Britain. In the rest of the West the governments are afraid of us (the people), whereas in the USA people are afraid of the government. Obama wanted, among other things to change that, but that's not what the Christians want. I can understand that.

FTR, I am Native American(Iroqois), Asian, and Caucasian. Obama sure changed things all right, and not for the good. Britain is socialist. Your nanny government there controls just about every aspect of your daily lives. We do not want that here in America. You can keep that over there.

Absolutely the election is not about religion, we do no want to turn out like England with their CCTV cameras everywhere, and their children taught to turn in their parents for perceived infractions.

I lived in the United Kingdom while in the USAF and watched Margaret Thatcher free the country from the grips of the never-ending union strikes however these people willingly forsake independence for the fake coddling of socialism and the NOW European Union.
