This election day, I will be voting with my Vagina.

OP, last time I checked, any woman can go out and buy contraception, if she needs it. It's available, in stores, everywhere, for everyone, and no one is threatening to ban it or get rid of it. (If you're having sex and can't afford contraception, let me guess? It's the state's job -- the taxpayers job -- to step in and fund it for you? Thought so). If she needs an abortion, she can go pay for one (oops, forgot, if she can't pay for it, WE have to).

If by some ridiculously improbable chance Roe v Wade is overturned, she can have an abortion in the likely plurality of states that will inevitably legalize it.

If she works for the Catholic Church, and they don't want to pay for her contraception through their health coverage because it violates their religious principles as protected by the Constitution, maybe she should look for another job (oops, forgot, it's "discrimination" -- remind me why we even have religious freedom in America again? Because apparently we don't need it, so long as narrow liberal definitions of "rights" extend to employers violating their consciences so you can fuck safely).

If you want to avoid a trans-vaginal probe, well, there isn't much you can do it about if you live in the state of Virginia other than -- I know it's crazy -- not have sex if you're not ready to have a kid, or at the very least, use protection. God forbid we put measures in the path of an abortion that might serve to prevent it in the first place -- that's the whole point of the trans-vaginal probe, as odiously invasive and medieval as it may seem; stop abortions, prevent them, put some resistance in the path of a woman who might otherwise go through with it. Is that so fucking awful? So she has to see and listen to her kid's heartbeat before it dies. If it gives one mother pause, just one, then I say it's worth it. One child saved is worth it.

The entire argument that there is a "war on women" is asinine fearmongering. All of this garbage serves to foster a dependent society of whips. That's what all this clamoring is about. Has nothing to do with "rights". The only threat Democrats are really worried about is that Republicans might reduce government cheese, if only by the most absurdly small and insignificant measures. Romney wants to balance the budget in something like twenty years. They're terrified that some of their goodies might get taken away so we only borrow half a trillion dollars a year instead of a trillion to pay our bills, so they call their goodies "rights".

And spare me the lecture on women's reproductive issues. The hell made you an authority on the matter? If a woman gets pregnant, the emotional and economical issues are between her and her significant other. They're not my problem or the state's problem, essentially. It's nice the state provides funding for Planned Parenthood, but it's by no means a right nor should it remotely be an expectation. It's a luxury. If funding were withdrawn, I'm sure the private sector could fill the gap -- that's what Hollywood stars and telethons are for.

If Romney becomes president, he will write the equivalent of the NDAA against everyone with a vagina. This is why I am voting for Obama. At least he will leave my vagina alone!
