It's not about age, it's about what people accept as reality and what they deem as fiction. The american lifestyle is one big escape from reality. From the hijacked language, to the constant bombardment with advertisements and slogans, to the labels, to the unnatural living conditions. People accept stories for reality. Everything is pretty much not what you think it is. All of our information and stuff is screened and diluted from the history of it, if not contemporized all together. Maturity is relative.
