trying to imagine how the whole rotation thing actually works out and how the bright side of the moon can be away from the sun, etc, all of it, makes my head spin and makes no sense to me. the vedics believed that the earth doesn't rotate, and that a black planet/twin moon crossing in front of the moon caused it's cycles. not sayin i believe either but the vedics did have a whole bunch right as far as astronomy and predicting eclipses and the like goes.

i'm not really arguing anything, except the fact that i have always been fascinated by the moon an the stars and have spent a lot of time looking at the sky in my life, and the last few years, and last weeks especially, everything seems really off to me. by my unscientific observations and gut feelings when i look up at night
