In Genesis 1:27 God creates male and female humans...

...and then in Genesis 2:7 He creates Adam and in 2:8 He places Adam in the garden of Eden. In Genesis 2:20 God decides Adam needs a helper (even though he created male and female in Genesis 1:27!), and so he does the rib conversion thing.
Now what is going on here???

The teaching style of 'repeat and expand' has always been a very effective teaching style and it is a style the Bible employs in many places. First, we read that God created man and woman, then later we are given more detail into the process. Very simple, but those who hate the truth have attempted to make it confusing. It's so much clearer now, thank you! For a minute there I thought maybe God was a bit confused. But it's all much more understandable now. I mean really, how could God mess up His own book?!?! He probably wishes now that He'd written it a bit more straightforward, but then that would have been too easy and EVERYBODY wouod believe in Him and then He may just as well have left the Devil oit of the whole show. Excellent!
