"Weather Modification Inc." Company That Sells Weather Modification Upon Request...WTF?

That is another million dollar question. Hopefully adding this to GLP will help us figure this one out.

Welcome to the Southwest Texas Rain Enhancement website!



The Southwest Texas Rain Enhancement (SWTREA) is a weather modification project located in Southwest Texas and has been operating since 1999. It is one of five of its kind operating in the state of Texas. Weather modification operations occur in the target area from March 15th to November 15th. Additionally, Uvalde County is operated by the SWTREA for the Edward Aquifer Authority (EAA) during the months of May through September. A project map can be found here, where the target area is outlined in yellow. The project operates 24 hours a day and conducts both rain enhancement and hail suppression activities. South Texas Weather Modification Association is a non-profit organization consisting of several water districts and a county commissioner's court. The association first formed in 1996 and conducted its first seeding mission the following year. After a decade of existence, the STWMA, based in Pleasanton, continues to perform seeding operations over multiple counties in south-central Texas. A map of the project area can be found here

The first person I'd target is Dr. Joe Golden - this fucker is UNBELIEVABLE.

He's a pioneer in NEXRAD - that's what is creating our wicked weather.

Introduction for Dr Joe Golden

Originally from California, Dr Golden has over 40 years of Federal Service in NOAA
He received his Ph.D. Meteorology in 1973 from Florida State University
He started his career as a Hurricane Specialist at the National Hurricane Center in Miami
His research interests in Convective Vortices brought him to NSSL in the early 1970’s
In 1984, he went back to NWS as the Chief of the Sounding Systems Branch where he managed the entire NWS rawinsonde and radar networks
While at NWS, he played a significant early role in both the AWIPS & NEXRAD Project
In 1991, he came back to OAR as Dir of the NOAA Atmospheric Modification Program
In 2000, Dr Golden moved to Boulder, CO where He is Currently a Senior Meteorologist at the Forecast Systems Lab
He is a AMS Fellow and a member of the AGU
Dr Golden is recognized as an International expert on Tornadoes and Waterspouts
He has authored over nearly 50 formal publications

I was just checking out the website and saw the photo album, crazy how they have pics of "seeded clouds" and such. This stuff is out there for the public and people still don't believe it or deny it. Great thread, thanks for all the info!

The same people who own the media (and the Discovery Channel) own the weather.

In simple speak, whatever is shown on the TV is propaganda and distractions.

They have been cloud seeding for years. I remember back in the 80's in Alberta they had the technology to seed clouds not only for rain but to prevent serious hail storms.

China has its own weather modification company. There were over 220.000. events in 2011 in which they used their program and have 30.000 employees.

They need organic clouds. The clouds have to be there already. They cannot create these clouds. 10-15 percent increase in rain is not that big in the sceme of things.

If they could create the organic clouds then I might play along with this. They can't.

I will still never believe even with the technology that they created Sandy out of thin air or the coming Nor Easter ever.

Hurricanes have been slamming into that coast line for hundreds of years and tearing things apart. We were not here to SEED clouds then.

I don't think you realize HOW MUCH ENERGY NEEDS TO BE PRODUCED TO CREATE A HURRICANE.

One only needs to take a look at the OCEAN CURRENTS to see and understand whats really going on with the weather.

The Artic Gyre and the Gulf and North Atlantic currents dictate all. They are out of wack right now and driving this crazy weather. The gyre is also being influenced by all the GARBAGE caught up in it.

The heating of the ocean and the fresh water/salt water mix is also effecting things because of the melt off.

Yes they can play with a few clouds but the day that you think man can CONTROL every little bit of weather happening on our planet is the day that Mother Nature and God will show up and set the record straight for all time.

There's one thing that you can always count on in life. We will have weather.

Great thread OP - you've collected a lot of info here - enough that the nay-sayers could spend a few days researching, and then realize that having their 'head in the clouds' is not a good place to be.

Very true OP and nothing new about it tbh, relative of mine involved in agriculture has bought similar services for a few days some years back here in Greece.

Interesting...in looking up this name I found he was part of CIRES and Project STORMFURY. Wanna make a bet that part of their 'disclosure' will be that they tried to 'save' all of us? "Look see we're your heroes!" NOT! Cause I will say that if you had that much power to sway a hurricane/tornado/twister in the direction you want, you had enough to steer it eastward long before it got near NJ.

The most common intended effects of cloud seeding include precipitation increase (rain and/or snow), fog dispersal (visibility improvement) and hail suppression. Of these, the majority of operational projects focus on precipitation increase. ie...FLOODS
