Voting Issues??

Sooo...with all these people out helping to restore power from all over the country and dislocated due to Sandy....how is that going to affect votes? I know in NY they have opened voting for 2 days..but i know there are crews from the south up in NY working to restore power, how are they going to vote? and what does this mean for the election..
